The sixth edition of the Premium Chess Cup started this Thursday in Nürnberg and 182 participants will compete until Sunday for a price fund of 11.000 Euro. With 67 titleholders – 24 GM’s, 20 IM’s, 22 FM’s, 1 WGM – it is the strongest edition ever. The top seeded players are Grandmasters Jonny Hector (Sweden), Valentin Iotov (Bulgaria), Klaus Bischoff and Thomas Luther (both Germany).
