11th European Senior Chess Rapid Championship

GM Viktor Kupreichik takes the title on best tiebreak

The 11th European Senior Chess Rapid Championship was played on 4th and 5th April in Courmayeur, Aosta Valley – Italy. 35 players took participation in the warm-up event before the European Senior Championship starts tomorrow in the same venue.

Five players shared the first place with 6.5 points each but GM Viktor Kupreichik was declared winner on best tiebreak. He repeated the fit from the last year’s European Seniors Rapid Championship in Thessaloniki. WIM Galina Strutinskaya is Women’s Rapid Champion. Final standings bellow – News by Adolivio Capece.
