FIDE Women’s Grand Prix in Doha

Elina Danielian with perfect score after five rounds

Elina Danielian is storming through the final FIDE Women Grand Prix in Qatar, having achieved fifth consecutive victory, this time against the former World Champion Xu Yuhua. Elina is leading with the perfect score, full two points ahead of IM Martha Fierro, GM Pia Cramling and GM Marie Sebag.

As Elina admitted during the recent Cento Carnival Open, where she also performed outstandingly, earning 21 elo points in the process, she was very eager to play again after the break which followed the European Club Cup in October.

Sunday is a rest day and the event continues on 28th February with the round 7 games. Live games with computer analysis.
