Cheparinov beats Beliavsky, only half point behind Karjakin.
Ivan Cheparinov proves that we rushed claiming he lost all chances to win Monaco invitation. He beat Alexander Beliavsky with black pieces and approached leading Sergey Karjakin to only half a point. In the last round tomorrow Karjakin is playing against Beliavsky while Cheparinov is to face with Ljubomir Ljubojevic.
Experience team cut the Rising Stars lead to only one point following today’s 3-2 win with white pieces. Arthur Yussupov beat Jan Smeets again and practically eliminated him from the race for Melodi Amber. Ljubomir Ljubojevic scored his first win in kings indian defence against Daniel Stellwagen.
